The FR-10 is a compact radar solution with a 10.4'' LCD color display and an integrated control panel for easy operation. The FR-10 can be combined with a selected Furuno DRS NXT or X-Class antenna (not included), providing the solution with high performance and modern features for safe navigation. The FR-10 is NMEA2000 certified, ensuring seamless integration with other relevant Furuno instruments such as the SCX-20/21 satellite compass and AIS FA-70.

The Furuno Radar FR-10 is a compact solution with a 10.4'' LCD color display and an integrated control panel with function keys for frequently used functions as well as knobs for adjusting gain, rain and sea clutter.
The radar is available in two versions, FR-10 with a 10.4'' screen and FR-12 with a 12.1'' screen. Both models can be freely combined with the desired DRS radar antenna. The solution thus has both the new Risk Visualizer™ and access to the advanced DRS radar functions. If you choose one of the NXT (solid-state) antennas, you get access to all functions including:
- Fast Target Tracking™, which immediately shows the course and speed of other vessels.
- Echo Average, which reduces noise and amplifies weak and unstable echoes.
- RezBoost Beam Sharpening™ which provides a unique improvement in performance.
- Target Analyzer™ which continuously analyzes surrounding targets and warns of potential collision danger.
NEW: RISK VISUALIZER™
SHOWS AREAS WITH RISK OF COLLISION
Risk Visualizer™ is a new and unique function that increases safety by presenting areas with a risk of collision.
The function shows potential collision areas based on your own position, course and speed compared to the position, course and speed of surrounding vessels. For the presentation, color codes from green (normal) to red (high risk) are used to indicate the degree of potential danger. This allows you to quickly assess the situation around your own vessel and decide whether action is necessary.
Risk Visualizer™ is updated at radar speed and thus provides much more precise information than AIS-based target observation.
MULTIPLE UNITS CAN SHARE ANTENNA
The Furuno Radar FR-10 can be networked where up to three units share the same antenna and can be configured in a master-slave setup, with one main unit and one or two sub-units. FR-10 and FR-12 can be combined, and both models have an HDMI port for connecting an external monitor.
It is also possible to configure with two DRS antennas and two main units with their own two sub-units, in the same network.
If the vessel already has a DRS antenna from a previous installation, this can usually be software updated and reused for FR-10/FR-12.
EASY INTEGRATION WITH OTHER INSTRUMENTS
The Furuno Radar FR-10 has three NMEA0183 ports but is also NMEA2000 certified, which can significantly simplify the connection of various instruments, such as the SCX-20 (NMEA2000) / SCX-21 (NMEA0183) satellite compass and FA-70 AIS.
The FR-10 is particularly well suited for integration with the SCX-20/SCX-21 satellite compass, as setup can be done from the menu in the FR-10.
INTEGRATED CONTROL PANEL
The Furuno Radar FR-10 has an integrated control panel that makes the radar easy to install. The control panel has function keys for frequently used functions.
Although the FR-10 has high-precision automatic adjustment, many people prefer the traditional knobs for manual adjustment of gain, rain and sea clutter.
For operation with a mouse, the Furuno RCU-030 can be used, or another preferred control with a USB connection.
