IMPROVED SITUATIONAL AWARENESS WITH TARGET ANALYZER™

The FURUNO DRS NXT radar series is the first in the world to feature Target Analyzer™ functionality. Target Analyzer™ enhances situational awareness and improves safety by helping you focus on the targets that matter. Targets approaching your vessel automatically change color from green to red if they pose a potential threat. Green echoes indicate stationary or receding targets, while red echoes represent approaching targets that may be on a collision course. Echoes change back to green once they pass or move sufficiently away from your vessel.

Red echoes represent targets approaching your vessel and on a potential collision course.

DRS RADAR CAN DISPLAY INFORMATION FROM BARENTSWATCH

Through integration with TimeZero Professional, the DRS radar gives navigators a clear overview of gear deployed at sea. TimeZero Professional retrieves information from BarentsWatch regarding registered and unregistered fishing gear and displays this as a separate presentation layer, which can be toggled on or off. This presentation layer can also be displayed in the DRS radar image. Please note that the position data shown corresponds to where the gear was originally deployed. Navigators must account for any potential drift.
