Compact radar solution with powerful features
Compact, solid-state network radar with display and operation via TimeZero Professional or NavNet. The DRS2D-NXT features a lightweight 48 cm closed antenna. Available features are the same as with other DRS NXT models, including Target Analyzer™, RezBoost™, ATR – Auto Target Acquire, and FTT – Fast Target Tracking, as well as Dual Range Mode.
TARGET ANALYZER™
The Target Analyzer™ function uses Doppler technology to quickly detect objects that may pose a threat. Targets approaching your vessel automatically change color, making it easy to identify and track potentially dangerous targets.
Green echoes represent stationary targets or those moving away from you, while red echoes indicate targets moving toward you and either on a collision course or passing too close for safe navigation. Echo colors change dynamically as targets move closer or farther from your vessel.
In this way, Target Analyzer™ enhances situational awareness and improves safety by highlighting targets that require attention.
