Standalone echo sounder with 600 W or 1 kW transmission power and the option of either a dual-frequency 50/200 kHz transducer or a CHIRP transducer. A dual-frequency transducer enables functions such as bottom discrimination and ACCU-FISH™, which indicates fish size. Compatibility with a wide range of transducers simplifies upgrades to the FCV-800.

The FCV-800 supports either a dual-frequency transducer or a CHIRP transducer. It features selectable 600 W or 1 kW transmit power (depending on transducer) and has two transducer ports. A 50/200 kHz dual-frequency transducer provides access to all built-in functions.
The FCV-800 also allows for a combination of a traditional CW (Continuous Wave) transducer and a single-frequency CHIRP transducer, unlocking Furuno TruEcho CHIRP™ technology for improved noise suppression, enhanced detail, and superior target separation.
You can also connect two FCV-800 displays to the same sonar system. One acts as a slave unit and can connect wirelessly within a 10-meter range.
A CHIRP transducer gives access to Furuno TruEcho CHIRP™ technology for better noise handling, higher fidelity and sharper separation.

To unlock the full range of features and performance, we recommend:

CHIRP transducer
When connected to a CHIRP transducer, the FCV-800 utilizes Furuno TruEcho CHIRP™ technology. This enables better noise rejection, more detail, and improved target separation—especially in shallow water. We recommend the following CHIRP transducer:

RETROFIT-FRIENDLY
The FCV-800 is compatible with a wide range of standard transducers. When upgrading from an older sounder, you can often reuse your existing transducer, and later upgrade to a newer model to unlock full functionality and performance.
