Today's merchant fleet must operate efficiently and responsibly. Safe and cost-effective operations depend on an increasing number of systems that must be monitored and operated from the bridge. Each system plays an important role and requires the attention of bridge personnel, while its dedicated displays and controls compete for limited bridge space.

The result is more often than not a crowded bridge where systems are placed where space permits rather than where they best support the operation. Relevant information is spread across multiple displays, making it harder for the operator to maintain a clear overall picture, while systems not relevant to the current operation remain present and add to their workload.

Regain focus on the task at hand

BlueBridge™ Comply allows the workspace to adapt to the operation. System sources are made available across the bridge, allowing relevant information to be presented on the most appropriate displays. Rather than permanently dedicating valuable display space to individual systems, operators can change what is presented as operational requirements change.

Adapt the bridge to the operation
The BlueBridge™ touch control panel visualises the available bridge displays in the upper section and provides access to all system sources below. Operators simply drag a source to the desired display and save the complete layout as a preset with a single click.

Presets can be created for different operational modes or individual preferences, allowing operators to organise the displays in the way they prefer. This makes it simple to create, save and switch between display layouts as requirements change.

INTEGRATION DESIGNED TO COMPLY

BlueBridge™ Comply is currently undergoing type approval. The approval will document the integration of type-approved maritime navigation systems into a common workspace without compromising the requirements of the individual system approvals.

Type-approved maritime displays, centralised dimming and compliant presentation and operation of systems such as radar, ECDIS, Conning and Alert Management are all part of the solution. System operation can be shared across BlueBridge™ touch control panels or restricted to dedicated panels. Access can be configured for each workstation, allowing information to be displayed while system operation is restricted where required. This supports bridge collaboration while maintaining the appropriate level of control.

To meet type-approval requirements, the solution includes a manual fallback providing direct access to the native presentation and operation of Furuno navigation systems.
