Standalone echo sounder with 600 W transmission power and the option of either a dual-frequency 50/200 kHz transducer or a CHIRP transducer. Furuno TruEcho CHIRP™ filters out unwanted noise, while RezBoost™ enhances performance. Depending on the transducer, the ACCU-FISH™ function, which indicates fish size, can be utilized. A wide range of compatible transducers simplifies upgrades to the FCV-600.

The FCV-600 features a single transducer port and 600 W transmit power. You can connect either a dual-frequency 50/200 kHz transducer or a single-frequency CHIRP transducer.
Depending on the connected transducer, the FCV-600 supports features like bottom classification and ACCU-FISH™ for fish size display.
When connected to a CHIRP transducer, it unlocks Furuno TruEcho CHIRP™ technology for improved noise reduction, increased detail, and better target separation.
The FCV-600 supports dual-display operation—one unit can act as a wireless slave display, with up to 10 meters of range.
A CHIRP transducer gives access to Furuno TruEcho CHIRP™ technology for better noise handling, higher fidelity and sharper separation.
Recommended Transducers for FCV-600
For the best performance and feature access, we recommend:
- 600 W: 520-5PSD, 50/200 kHz, 42/12°
- 600 W: 520-5MSD, 50/200 kHz, 45/12°
Also works well with a 1 kW transducer:
- 1 kW: B260, 50/200 kHz, 1 kW, 19/6°
RETROFIT-FRIENDLY
The FCV-600 is compatible with a wide range of standard transducers. When upgrading from an older sounder, you can often reuse your existing transducer, and upgrade later for full access to new features and peak performance.

COMPARISON WITH FCV-800
While the FCV-600 offers similar performance to the FCV-800, there are a few key limitations:
- Transmit Power: FCV-600 is 600 W only, while FCV-800 supports both 600 W and 1 kW
- Transducer Port: FCV-600 has a single port and cannot combine CW and CHIRP transducers like the FCV-800
- Interface Support: FCV-600 supports NMEA 2000 only, while the FCV-800 also supports NMEA 0183
