Furuno Satellite Compass SC-130-A (Open Antenna)
SC-130 (open antenna) is a type-approved satellite compass that provides highly accurate information for navigation equipment such as Radar, ECDIS, AIS, Doppler Sonar, and Autopilot. The equipment is 100% maintenance-free and has a very short startup time of approximately 90 seconds. The compass can receive GPS, Galileo, and GLONASS signals, ensuring excellent coverage and increased redundancy in case of a GNSS system failure. The SC-130 provides a range of data, including position, heading, ROT (Rate of Turn), and speed over ground in three axes (bow, stern, and longitudinal). The compass ais suitable for all types of vessels and can, in retrofit situations, reuse existing antenna cables.
