BLUEBRIDGE™ COMPACT IS A FLEXIBLE SCREEN MANAGEMENT SOLUTION

All systems included in the screen management are connected directly to the screens where the display is desired. The number of systems that can be connected to each screen is determined by the number of inputs available on that individual screen.

On the BlueBridge™ Compact touch panel, users can easily select between the systems connected to the various screens. For screens with dual-split or quad-split capability, users can also select the preferred position on the screen.

BlueBridge™ Compact enables both space and cost savings through efficient utilization of screen surfaces. It also improves ergonomics at bridge workstations by allowing critical systems for different operational modes to be operated within a comfortable reach.

EFFICIENT UTILIZATION OF AVAILABLE SCREENS

Large Screens and Quad-Split

When supported by the screen, users can choose at any time to operate in full-screen mode or display multiple systems simultaneously using dual-split or quad-split view modes.

A typical setup for new builds features two larger forward screens with four DVI ports and a quad-split display. For such setups, 43'' screens or larger are recommended.

  • On a 43'' screen, each split view corresponds to a 21.5'' screen
  • On a 55'' screen, each split view corresponds to a 27.5'' screen

Smaller Screens and Single Source Selection

On many vessels, placing large screens on the bridge may be difficult or impossible. In these cases, it is better to use smaller screens such as 19'', 24'', or 27''.  Depending on the number of available ports on each screen, systems are connected where the display is desired. The screen management system allows for quick and easy switching between available sources, depending on the operation.
